Anyone have their career disintegrate as a result of your illness? This has been the case for me.
Actually, my losing a job was the trigger for my current episode of depression. I was in a professional position, with some responsibility. I'm sure that is the case for many of us here.
My illness still has not resolved yet. I fear I may never return to the workforce. Will they accept me with a giant gap in my resume, filled only by volunteer work?
I am terrified to return to work and terrified I won't.
