Just a thought...are you taking any meds, or have you recently stopped taking any? Sometimes antidepressants and stimulants can cause very vivid dreams, or they can suppress dreams so that if you miss a dose or stop taking them abruptly, you can have very vivid (and, speaking from personal experience, often very nasty) dreams.
