I like the old fashioned cozy mysteries. Ellery Queen, Nero Wolfe, Agatha Christie, and to a lesser extent Hercule Poirot. I'm not sure if this was before or after I got a mad crush on Jim Hutton in the Ellery Queen Mysteries.

I also ***love*** the Brother Cadfael mysteries. Two of my favorite genres mixed together.

Of modern authors, I like listening to Jonathan Kellerman. But I'm pretty sure that's because the narrator is so good. And perhaps the references to psychology. He once wrote something about the loss of a therapist that won him a permanent place on my "shelf".
