Sometimes I like a little mind numbing, not too much though.
My father is alright, usually a benign type of crazy, he gets a bit obsessive, he's on missions, crusades, to expose the conspiracies, out to right the wrongs that other people don't really see as significant issues, maybe 'cause they're not, but that's all a matter of perception, as is most reality.
He's odd enough for other people to notice though.
