Read it recently. Maybe National Geographic, not sure. Same source said they are quite a bit smarter than was previously thought. (Wasn't that long ago women were in a similar category.)
A notary once told me that he kept a pet squirrel. Had it's own room :) The notary spoke glowingly. Had to provide plenty for it to chew so it wouldn't go for the wiring.
