My first volunteer job and only as was told get into nursing so did. What I wanted to do here was the admissions. As you know RN's just don't like to do them so timely. Phillipa, I don't understand what you mean about going backwards ... I mean you aren't doing any nursing stuff now. Would you be interested in doing what little you could without a license. I think doing it as a volunteer would be better. You don't have to volunteer in the psych wards. You could volunteer in the maternity unit and rock the little ones. Premature babies especially need so much extra care and you could do great things there. Think of what you could do in the hospital that would help YOU and someone else. I don't think going to the psych unit is a very good idea. You need to get away from that.
I understand that you still need to do your Ebay stuff but you have to admit, you spend a lot of time on this site alone. There is so much else you could do that would be more fulfilling.
