Welcome! I grew up with a physically and verbally abusive mother and joined the army...best decision I ever made; only problem is I chose someone just like her to marry (typical).....31 years of abusive marriage, then a divorce.
The book that saved my sanity and life: The Verbally Abusive Relationship by Patricia Evans...knowledge is power. I believe this book should be required reading for everyone on the planet.
