Speaking of wires, I enjoyed the series "The Wire", which is a series set in Baltimore involving the various protagonists in the drug trade and the war on drugs.
But more than that it is about the absolute triumph of capital and the fear and wonder of us who have to live within this wreckage.I needed English subtitles on though. There's lots of wonderful slang.
