Hi Rod.

Actually, it just felt kind of sad. I was just sort of fed up and checking out from the night. If someone had actually gotten hurt in any kind of accident, I'm sure I would have ended up being the designated driver. Seems like I always ended up being the one to drive someone to the ER in the middle of the night. Since college days. But when one of the over-imbibers fell, I just sort of said, "I'm outta here."

It's odd. There wasn't anything negative going on. We were actually having a fun family night, but suddenly it all changed for me when the person slipped and fell.

Guess it's all fun and games until...yada yada yada.
