I did not wish such a thing, my concern was just what has occured...
I would like a group open to anyone cuz I think thats best.
But in fairness, I don't really have a huge problem if someone chooses to have a closed group, that is their perogative. However, I think they lose out if they start getting too choosy, but again, their choice.
If you are not invited to their group, then consider it their loss. They don't get to have you in their group.
I think some have been invited, but have declined cuz a closed group is not what they want. Even the process of yea or nay for new members is fraught w/peril methinks.
So yup, it open or nothing for me.
Anyboddy know of a good open group, let me know.
I just don't have the time ATM to set one up. It would be a learning curve for me that would take time that I just don't have. Cost to have server space and for programs is really not too bad actually.
Its just time....as I would not attempt to set up a board unless I had the time to manage it properly.
Maybe one day...
I think groups thru google etc are quite limiting. I would set up my own privately thru a server co.
There are things like wordpress too. That might be simpler in some ways...
Anyhow, I have the will, the ability, just not the time :( to research and manage.
Meantime I have another place that I post at, it was slow but has picked up quite a bit, the people are really kind and careful there. Its got lotsa boards to choose from, it was originally aimed at wounded healers but now seems to be open to anyone.
Its finable by googling.
Well, I shall say no more.
Just really hate to see hurt feelings.
There's lotsa places out there, good places, keep looking!
