When I start to get worried about something, I try to put in perspective how likely it is to happen. Does this information fit with anything you know about Dr. Bob?
Who would know this information, other than Dr. Bob? Would the people who would have access to this information be able, under the laws of confidentiality, to mention it?
We've got a thread on distress tolerance on Psychology. Maybe this is one of those times when distress tolerance would be a good thing to practice? Come join us. :)
