Sounds like a really dumb thread from an old RN but things have changed so much and never worked in L&D. Daughter due and water broke in the hospital and called cell and Father of baby answered said can't talk thanks for calling. Cell was breaking up. Now there was an e-mail timed 6am that water had broken. And since up til 3 nightly read at ll:30. My water broke too and all kids born with three contractions and this phone eall was at noon so what happens now? Yesterday she e-mailed she was 3-4cm dilated and station -1 whatever that means. The hospital is more than one location. So what do I do? Seriously no idea? Love Phillipa and I always knew everything when working in my fields so now the only one no experience in is happening figures. Thanks
