and so?

Like they've never screamed, or worse.

Most people have, if not at work, then somewhere around others. Life goes on.

Maybe others at your work just "scream" in other ways, (more convoluted? sneaky?) maybe not immediately noticeable to coworkers, instead of openly being real like you were. I like your way better. Leaves little room for doubt about feelings, really. I would think they would have figured out it was a sign of frustration, considering what you've had to deal with lately...

Perhaps you ought to scream more often...and next time, for no good reason at all!! Then, when asked, just act like they are all daft and you have no clue what they are talking about.

A good scream every once in a while might be a-okay. You could always mutter to "them" that the alternatives to your (BTW *completely* justifiable under the circumstances) scream over the stupid computer might not be anything they'd like much better :-)

(Well, Dinah, at least you gave me some reason to use the word 'daft.' Uh-oh, hope it's not offensive here....I like to come across it in writing...it's a cool, old word)

Try to remember this too shall pass. I know it's been multiple times and all, but still, change is inevitable, and I refuse to believe your PC bad luck could get any worse. No way. I feel great things will come with the new computer.
