OOOHHH, me me. I love talking hair and makeup. I am a confessed beauty aids who.., uh, enthusist.

I do like mineral foundations. They have been a bit tricky for me. What I found as a key was to moisturize well prior to applying. My canvas consists of Clinique's Dramatically Different in the GEL form mixed with a little topical Hyaluronic Acid - can be found at health food stores and the single best thing to come out of a health food store for my assessment. (Smile) Nothing else from there has ever worked for me. (Smile) but I digress..... so,

Silicone based primers do not work well for me with mineral foundations as also oil control products don't mix well as they tend to produce a cakey look.

I like bareminerals but have found Walgreen's brand is good. I don't care for the L'oreal versions as they have too much of the shiny light diffusing pigments for me - the Oz Tin Man look isn't attractive on me.

I love that most places allow for returns if one isn't happy. That's actually a fairly new development for cosmetic purchases. It's great to not be stuck with bucks worth of stuff you can't or refuse to use.

I have a good cheap hair product tip if you're interested.....
