Jammer,
just having full days of things to do causes insomnia in me. After all kinds of things to think about, and choices to make, and health concerns, etc., maybe you've hit the point where you can't quite "turn off" the thoughts.

Tell more- is it a busy mind thing? a busy body thing? Does your body want to sleep and your mind doesn't? Does your mind want to sleep and your body doesn't?

So sorry. Insomnia is yuck. I have luck with ambien and sonata. benedryl too, and klonopin, in small doses many of these will not cause hangover. If you go to bed at 9pm, you might be able to avoid hangover too.

no showers for 2 days? DARN ;)
