Back again...

Posted by cloudydaze on September 15, 2008, at 21:31:57

Hey y'all, its been awhile.

Here's what I'm up to:

Been working at the coffee shop for 9 months now, getting more hours finally - about 5 days a week.

I'm handling it ok.

My bipolar is fairly stable, still taking Lamictal (up to 150mg now), Provigil (100mg), Abilify (recently upped to 10mg because of hypomanic symptoms) and am now taking 2 new meds for skin problems (Severe acne).

The skin meds (daily doxycyclene antibiotic and ortho-tricyclene birth control for hormone control) have nearly eliminated my acne, and i am SO happy about that. I was having severe cystic acne deep in my skin...painful.

So that covers all my meds...now back to life.

I had a really fun summer! Got to go to the annual 4th of july family reunion, which is always loads of fun, and went to 2 really awesome concerts of bands that I LOVE (rancid and Nine inch nails)

My daughter just turned 9 years old on the 10th of this month! She is so grown up!

Now the not so good news: I am thrilled to death to be working more and finally feeling more stable, but things are not going so well with my bf. A few months ago, my mom kicked him out of the house for reasons I will not disclose here. He managed to get a cheap apartment and avoided having to move back up north with his parents. But now, he is realizing he can't afford to live and pay all his bills, so he might have to move away again, and that could mean a break up. Thats pretty sad and scary considering we've been a couple for 6 years.

He's wanting me to move in with him, but I dont make enough money, and he cant afford a bigger apartment either. I am kinda stuck living at home. But if I don't do something soon, I might lose him for good. :(

anywho, thats my update.
