There seems to be also a big difference in what some do here - as in, not seeing a difference in updated versus going trendy.
My catty Grandmother used to remark:
"I guess somebody told her she looked good in that ______ (insert clothes, hair, eyeglass frames, dog collar, earrings, etc....) and she believed them."
I got being catty honest I do believe...
