The "man" was born a woman, and always had ovaries, uterus, and vagina. "He" had his breasts removed (you can see the scar in the photo), and took male hormones to develop the beard and other secondary male sexual characteristics. "He" stopped taking the male hormones so he could become pregnant, but I have considerable concern about the hormonal environment that the fetus has been exposed to. Development of sex organs in the fetus is regulated by very small amounts of sex hormones. If the fetus is genetically female, there could be totally unpredictable consequences. I'm not even comfortable about the outcome if it's male. It's uncharted territory.
