To-Do List / To-Be-Read File

Posted by Fivefires on March 25, 2008, at 0:27:40

I keep a doc on my desktop called shop-do asap. I saved it in my docs and made a shortcut to my desktop so I could chose a fitting icon. I chose the one where it looks like all these colored blocks are tumbling down ... like ... if I don't shop and do what is on my list, my life also come tumbling down. It helps me to do my ADLs, appts, food or household needs, necessary phone call to make, and at the bottom I have a 'Want (wishlist)'.

I also have a doc on my desktop called Ongoing Shop-Do. Here is listed all things since created in think 2000 of necessary info to my life. Favorite things i.e. , necessary things i.e. my air filter size, places frequented w/ phone and address and sometimes directions, suggested docs, docs didn't care for, allergies, good drug, bad drug, date of a particularly important event in my life such as a surgery, all sorts of things I've amassed over the years which I don't want to forget. This doc is good if have troub' w/ memory, or foresee furthering of memory problems, a fear think a lot of peeps have.

Ok, that's in real life on my desktop.

In my Outlook email, I have a file called TBR (to be read). If someone walks up behind me and I have something private on the screen, I'll move it into this file.

How could I make this file stand out? I don't want it to stand out to the person who just walked up behind me (not like there's a crowd or anything), but definitely need to make it stand out to self.

Tonight while talking w/ my ISP about some problems w/ bounce-backs, I noticed had a lot of emails from PB in TBR file. I sighed and thought 'oh no!' and moved them to inbox.

I'M SORRY to any pb email I've not responded.

It's prob' been too long now to even post into the middle of some thread which may be a month old, but I'll try check thru as best can.

Another complaint: Outlook doesn't have as many helpful little tricks in their email program, I feel, as did Outlook Express. I could assign the color 'green' to an unlimited number of emails regarding health in OE. Was just getting started w/ my color coding, when Outlook informed me I'd reached my limit of assigning any color to any incoming email. :(

SOOO, CAN ANY1 SUGGEST WAY TO MAKE MY TBR FILE STAND OUT?

AND, IS THERE SOMETHING BESIDE COLOR CODING TO MAKE READING YOUR EMAIL EASIER, IN OUTLOOK, I'M NOT AWARE OF?

Too ill; miss being in the midst of things here.

Hope all well, 5f

and: Think I should just rid my pute of Outlook and download OE?

and: I can't make decisions and I need your help and I'm sorry to have such 'neediness' lately. I do pray that one day I can repay all in my life, somehow, for all they've done for me.

and: If you know me and I sound like I'm losin' it, pls use babble feature and tell me. Sometimes I truly wonder if I experience much 'mindfulness' throughout a day, at all.
