That picture is SO beautiful! It must have been lovely to be there. I cannot even imagine it!
Now, as to how snow falls:
- right now it's not even flakes...it's little dots of snow; like soft pellets; flying sideways - LOTS of them, almost making like a fine curtain
or
- pretty-shaped flakes swirling around anything that is in its way; making little whirlwinds
or
- heavy dry lumps consisting of numerous wonderfully-shaped snowflakes, floating gently down as if the 'gods' were having a pillow-fight & huge feather-pillows had been broken & were spilling their contents down to the earth
or
- heavy wet clumps, so close to each other you can hardly see ahead of you, descending VERY determinedly straight down & becoming inches on the ground in no-time-flat
or
- sparkly crystals catching the sunlight as they float gently down
Anybody have more to add???
Actually, in writing this, I realize that snow is really quite amazing & beautiful!!!
