Well Kath, when I'm not on Politics waiting for someone to explain Ann Coulter to me, I'm reading about the polar bears in Churchill.

Maybe Hudsons Bay is a little bleak?
We have a salt lake that's always empty and is mainly a salt pan, and the effect of the reflected sky in the salt and the water (if there is any) means that you cannot determine a horizon.
The description of Hudsons Bay sounded a little like that.
