Of course you should give yourself credit!!!

Lists, like resolutions, are meant to be broken
;-)

Just kidding, but really, getting stuff out of my head onto a paper helps calm me & anyway, I LOVE making lists.

But I think the thing is to know that it's a guideline. I love crossing or checking things off on a list.

I think if we do the list thing, we should be kind to ourself & say HEY look what I DID (not look what I didn't do!)

hugs, Kath

PS - I'm having my daughter make up a chart for me with days along the top & 'things I can do to help depression' along the side...specific things, like 'use my SAD light lamp', 'take selenium', 'exercise' etc.

She & I are going to be "exercise buddies" and "water drinking buddies". Today she emailed me that she'd walked for 10 - 15 minutes & then wrote "just a gentle nudge"....so when I went to the chiropractor, afterwards, I went to a little lake & river in the town & walked along it for 15 minutes. It inspired me that she'd done it. Normally I would NOT have gone walking. And as to water, I HATE drinking water, but drank a cup when I read her email & said, "I just drank a cup of water - ugh!"

Anyone wanting to join as buddies, just say so!

:-)) Kath
