As always, what catches up must fall behind again. Not entirely my fault. Life intervenes, perhaps more when you've ignored life for a while to immerse yourself in work.
New Orleans is limping along. I guess it won't be too long till the new normal starts drifting in. Everyone who will be getting money for their loss at all should be getting it soon, so they can make decisions about their homes. The areas not as badly damaged appear normal already. And some badly damaged areas have been pockets of inspiration. But it's hard not to worry about the isolation of repaired homes and neighborhoods and the difficulty of providing services in the circumstances. New Orleans recovery still makes me melancholy. Brad Pitt I haven't seen. Wasn't he in a River Runs Through It? I'm trying to remember if I've seen his movies.
