Worried about health effects of anxiety.

Posted by Michael83 on July 17, 2007, at 20:31:02

I know stress will cause heart problems.

But people like me who go through a "daily ritual" of anxiety are probably even more susceptible to heart problems. I'm scared I might be shortening my life by worrying so much. =(

My secret goal (maybe a bit of an unreasonable goal, maybe not) is to live to see the 22nd century (year 2101, I'll be 118). When I'm elderly, living to 100 will not be unreasonable. But if I die at 50 of a heart attack, I will have no chance of that.

Anyone else worried about the health effects of their anxiety/worrying?
