Tex, sorry I don't have time to read the entire thread, I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your whole family. I hope he gets the help he needs.
The most important thing is to take the best care of yourself right now. You're hanging by a shoestring, so keep things simple and try not to get overwhelmed by a tide of guilt.
You'll make it up to him when things are easier for you, I know you will.
