We stayed at the Underhill State Park & I don't know if there is more than 1 trail that goes up the mountain from there. The office had a map, I believe.
We took one that seem to go Straight Up!! LOL
It was interesting - there was 1 place on it where there was, I think they called it the Hanging Rock, or something like that - a huge boulder had fallen & was wedged against another.
If you mentioned that, I suspect the people at the park could help you locate the trail.It was a spectacular trail! I made an Inuckchuk at the top of where I went - hubby went even further up; I was exhausted. An Inuckchuk is a sort of rock formation that looks somewhat like a person holding their arms out. People here seem to make them wherever there is an abundance of rocks - lots of them near Parry Sound, where I'm heading to today. I've since learned that they have special sort of sacred meaning to Native Peoples & that it's not tremendously cool for everyone to be making them willy-nilly!
