No, she's not into drugs, but the manipulation is the same. Basically just trying to get me to do things for her by appealing to my sensitivity. Last time I was over there she said, "Well, my hairdryer finally went out". I don't know what she means by 'finally' because I bought that one for her just a couple of years ago. But I could tell she was trying to get me to feel bad in the hopes that I would buy her a new one. That's just a small example of her manipulation techniques. Its been a challenge to learn how to hold back that feeling in order to keep from being taken advantage of. Plus, you know you're not doing the person any good by encouraging their dependence on you. Sometimes it makes it easier when you think about it like that, that way you don't feel like you're being selfish. If something happened to us what would they do then? Who would take care of them? They need to learn how to take care of themselves.
