I believe that our eyeballs are very forgiving towards us, as long as we are not using crochet hooks and the like.
By all means, see how they feel tomorrow, DONT WEAR CONTACTS, and if they are still bothering you, see an opthamologist. You might have a wee scratch, or it might be nothing.
But that would be better than not being able to see.I only wear mascara based on whether I think I might cry that day. If it's a given, I just skip it altogether, instead of making an instant raccoon mask for myself. I have rainproof stuff but it's a pain in the *ss to take off. I always feel I'm sacrificing eyelashes when I try to take the darn stuff off.
