my cats eat an organic dry food, that i order, and cooked brown rice with tuna or chicken and a bit of spinach added to it.
my dogs eat brown rice, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, sometimes pasta, boiled eggs, and some meat......if i trust the source. i boil big bones in the brown rice to leach out the calcium and then remove the bones. i feed the same brand, in small amts, of dry food that i feed the cats. i order it online also.
i do not have vet bills. i've had large dogs live to be 15 and 17, in relatively good health.....
there is no way i'm feeding my pets "ground corn, animal byproducts, animal digest, blah, blah, blah".their coats are shiny, they play and they feel good. our animals can be fed, at home, easily enough, and that way we know what they are eating. and they love it.
