Speaking only for myself, the sometimes rather broad interpretation of what constitutes a breach of civility guidelines and the potential for public reprimand/blocks, has me "walking on eggshells" when posting. What might be considered humorous for some, is very often construed by the administrative powers that be, to have the potential to be perceived as offensive or a put down. So rather than deal with the restrictive and seemingly arbitrary nature of THE RULES and their enforcement, I now post sparingly and with a lot less gusto and verve. (Did I actually use gusto and verve in a sentence?)
and of course here is the DISCLAIMER:
These statements are my perceptions only and don't necessarily having any basis in reality. If anything I have written here causes anyone to feel accused, a*saulted, as*imilated, put down, put upon, put in their place, put on a shelf, put out, left out, left over, irate, irritated, irrigated, irrational, irreverent, irresponsible, consternated, constipated, congealed, concerned, confined, confabulated, confused or just sick about it, I am truly sorry.
