Is it wrong to hate? Can it be justified?

Posted by Michael83 on April 15, 2007, at 20:03:53

I find myself with extreme love/hate feelings for people in general. Not even just for individuals, but for groups of people.

I may spot someone very quickly and have strong positive or negative feelings about them.

What I'm wondering, do you think it's wrong to hate? What if that hate is based on logic? If you think that person or persons is doing harm to others or negatively contributes to society?

I find myself having just uncontrollable hatred for certain groups of people in society (certain variations of underclass culture). I know there is good justification for hating them, as I know for a fact they are a negative drain on the world. But I don't know why my hatred is to strong and why it's so extreme. Most people have a "meh, live and let live" mentality. I just have an uncontrollable hatred.

Note: Don't worry, no one here on babble is the group of people I don't like. You all have been one of the groups I love. You give off such great energy and the world is lucky to have you all. NOT ONE OF YOU HAS GIVEN ME ANY BAD VIBES. I have a lot of love for people on here.
