I actually went out with a friend Saturday night for the first time in... I don't now how long. Kind of an accomplishment for me as I tend to be a hermit. It was fun. We went to a museum exhibit where we ate little appetizers and drank wine (which of course I spilled in the gift shop later - not drunk just typical clumsy me). We shared how emotional some of the art made us feel (new to me as she was never into art before like I was), then we went to a restaurant later and had Mango Margaritas (which were AWESOME) and discussed old times. It was nice. This is the friend I just reconnected with that I had cut out of my life several years ago because it was such a toxic relationship. She's changed so much and so have I. Its weird, I'm constantly floored by certain aspects of her personality now and have to remind myself she isn't the same person.
