I totally think they should pick up the phone and call the doctor or at least email. I know you've mentioned in previous posts that your sons in the hospital. Is this a new treatment facility he is hoping to go to, or is it also in the same hospital?
How old is your son? I know its really rough on the family when someone is going through something like this. I have gone thru similar only from your son's vantage point perhaps. I felt tremendous guilt for what I put my family thru. I'm sure he feels the same. My mother did the best she could at the time for me but at some point I had to become responsible for myself. It is HIS journey Kath. My mom got me to adulthood and from there on it has been my journey. Both the good and the bad.
