corafree,

Count me in. I'm always up for a pity party.

I hope you're feeling better today. I'm sorry to hear you've been sick. The flu is the pits! :(

I won't tell you to pull yourself up by the bootstraps. I promise. Usually when people tell me that, it makes me want to wrap the bootstraps around their necks.

I went to my 2nd support meeting last night and confess that I spent the entire time wishing I was home surfing the babble boards. So far I've found the support group experience disappointing. It seems 1 or 2 people always monopolize the meeting.

Personally, I've found psychobabble to be a far superior mode of support. It's free. It's always available. There is equal opportunity to post and respond. I've found everyone to be genuinely supportive. And I've gotten some excellent advice from this site.

I'm going to give the support group 2 more meetings to see if things gel. I hope you are able to get hooked up with a group especially if you tend to isolate yourself. It is very important that you do get out.

Regards,
happykat :)
