so often when a loved one is seriously ill, concerned family and friends ask "How's your dad doing?" and you might give them a rundown of his latest diagnosis and procedures.How's Jay doing?
I hope that you are not in too much pain and inner conflict to see the little beautiful things every day. Things like holiday decorations. a certain kind of look that your dad gives you, that means "I love you". A long-lost family member who is able to reconnect after so much time passed. A nurse who goes a little above and beyond to provide comfort for you and your family. A really good cup of coffee. Invest some of your heart's energies in seeing the little things that make every day of our lives precious and beautiful.
