No, I went to a restaurant. I call them bliss cakes, but they are just pancakes (American style) sandwiched with cream, and served with fruit syrup and powdered sugar.

I went to a bed and breakfast once, and they had this dish that was truly spectacular. It was french toast (again- american breakfast). Giant thick pieces of it, split and stuffed with some kind of a cream-cheesy-souffle type thing. Baked until it was almost like puffy cheesecake in the middle of it, with warm spiced peaches drizzled over the top. I ordered this both times that it was a breakfast option. Both times I LOVED it, but within 30 minutes, I felt absolutely disgusting. Sugar crash, stomach bloat, etc etc.

The stuffed pancakes reminded me of the stuffed french toast in this way. I was kind of scared that they might be too heavy. Imagine my surprise when they felt satisfying, but not agonizing

stuffed french toast = agony cakes
stuffed pancakes = bliss cakes.
