When I say "John Prine" a few months ago, his song Sam Stone affected me. It's an old song about what happens when soldiers come home. I knew it would be emotional to listen to in a live setting when I arranged to attend the concert, but I'm glad I went.

John Fogerty and John Prine are among the few rock guys of their generation who served in the armed forces (Fogerty in the reserves)
