((((Joan)))) I don't buy into your thinking that you've "allowed" yourself to become depressed. It's not something we can decide not to experience; it's one of those things that happen to us. I am, as you know, a firm believer in the combination of therapy and medication. Even with those valuable tools, I have bouts of depression, anxiety, and panic. The thing that I can "allow" myself is not fighting the bad feelings when they come - feelings are what they are, and aren't open to being changed.

You're working again, right? When your benefits kick in, I'd look into trying medication again, at the very least.

Just MHO, take it or toss it, sweetie.
