First, I don't know much about dogs, but I was suprised to learn that my friends dog was a girl, as she had a protruding thingie just under her tail.
Second, I'm sorry to hear that your dog is dizzy and sick. Is it possible that the dog has menigitis or something infectious like that? It seems strange that it's progressing fairly quickly and also with the weight loss. Another idea is that it's an ear problem that just wasn't diagnosed correctly.
Anyways, I hope everything works out okay. Pets are special indeed. It's wonderful to have a fluffy thing to love.
