I think Dr. Bob accepts your feelings for him, and understands some things about them.
I also wish you had someone whom you could love and with whom you could have a more immediate relationship, too.
Maybe the feelings you have for Dr. Bob will help you in working toward finding more things that are satisfying and fulfilling.
