I don't think that sounds block worthy. Everyone is intitled to their own opinion. That''s why we each have our very own brain. But what do I know?
I do agree with you. There are many things going on that would cause our forefathers to turn over in their graves.
Just the way election has turned into a two party system is bad enough. Right now nobody will back an Independent because they feel there's no chance for them to win. They must instead choose the lessor of two evils.
I think a possible solution would be having a runoff election (I think that's what its called). You vote for your first, second and third choice, and if your first choice doesn't get enough votes to carry it, they go to your second choice.
I think the only reason nothing has been done about it is because powerful people want it kept the way it is. Have you ever thought maybe the Rep and Dem are all part of one big group? They give the public this 'election' to keep us passified, but in reality the whole thing is fixed? That's my current conspiracy theory anyway.
I hope this doesn't get redirected to Politics.
