I've been mainly working at home for years, and openly doing so since the hurricane, since our quarters are cramped at the office.
But contrary me now finds myself irked by the constant access people have to me at home, so that when I come into the "office" or when I leave for the day are no longer truly cut off from my private time. Not that they ever really were, but there used to be a smaller funnel to reach me at home. Now it's open to anyone. I cringe each time the phone rings.
Sort of the nature of the beast. My friend had to do work from the labor and delivery room. I was spared that at least. I don't think they called me till I was home from the hospital. :)
There's just no pleasing me.
I guess that's why I want to move. Sort of a physical walking away.
