Why do I think it will be different each time?

Posted by Racer on March 3, 2006, at 20:41:49

LOL! This isn't what you probably expect...

So, today, I watched part of "I Want To Live!" with Susan Hayward. It's sort of like "Anne of the Thousand Days" -- every time, I find myself getting more and more tense, sitting on the edge of my seat, willing the governor to commute her sentence; willing Great Harry to relent.

And yet, every single time, they die. And every single time, I cry. And every single time, I look at myself and say, "What? You think it's gonna be different this time? Different from the other sixteen times you've seen this movie?"
