Don't feel bad. I think poetry is really subjective. Do you feel good about writing poetry? If you do, please don't stop just because of one contest. I bet lots of best seller books and works of art get bad reviews at first. It doesn't mean that they're bad. I think it just means that whoever was judging it didn't like it.
