Yeah well, I'm a little off every day, but I went junking this morning.
There is this totally disgusting hole of a store uptown, I swear the guy finds most of his inventory picking trash and taking garage sale left-overs, and I really feel the need to shower immediately upon leaving, but I almost always come home with a fab find or 10!
The guy marks every item with masking tape price tags. All items are 1/2 price, unless the masking tape says 'not 1/2 price', which most of them do! LOL! (My favorites are the .05 items not 1/2 price...)
I'm always amazed at his organization. All the capless Avon bottles from the 70's are all together. All of the old plastic fly swatters are together. Gallon sized ziplock bags of used knee-hi hose are together. He has 2 full buildings of crap and is better organized throughout than I am in any cabinet in my home!
Any body else like to hunt for retro/antique treasures, especially in skanky stores? ;~}
