A story of love.. and death - Gran died today

Posted by NikkiT2 on January 23, 2006, at 16:31:54

75 years ago, a beautiful young lady met a very handosme young man. Jack and Violet fell madly in love, and were quickly engaged.
But Jack, knowing Violets's soft spot for men in uniform, had lied about being in the army. Once love had blossomed, and once they were engaged, Jack realised he'd better get his *rse into the army quick smart.

But, Jack hadn't reckoned on 16 weeks of square bashing, with no contact allowed with anyone. Not even Violet. He'd also not reckoned on being sent straight to India once he was fully fledged.

So, Violet moved on, and met Eric. They fell in love, married and within a few years had 3 lovely children.

Jack stayed in touch with Violets mother, and one day, 15 years later when Violet visited her mother, there was Jack. The spark was still there, and a brief, but passionate affair ensued. A child, a son, was born of that affair, but Eric had no idea of the affair, and raised the son as his own.

Eric was plagued by ill health, and after a long long time in hospital, counted in years, he died. His obituary was in the local news paper, and Jack saw it. He had lost his wife a few years previously, and so wrote to one of Violets daughters, to see whether she would see him. Violet was over joyed.

In their 80's Jack and Violet discovered the life they should have lived from their teens. They laughed, they talked, and they shared their lives and bed.

Today, at just before 1:30pm, at 90 years old, Violet passed away. I doubt Jack will last the week.

Rest in Peace Gran. I'm going to miss you, but I carry your genes so strongly, genes that seem to over power all others. I shall pass these onto my daughters, who shall pass them onto theirs. None will ever forgive you for the chunky thighs, but we will all love you for the strength they give us
