Thanks Ang, you're so sweet. I feel much better today. I think that cry was a long time coming. I haven't cried since I watched them turn all the machines off on my Grandmother in the hospital and waited for her to die. I was going to go in the room with my Mom, (my brother elected to stay outside and smoke, my sister was at work) but when I got to the doorway I just couldn't do it. So I stood outside in the hall and looked in. I couldn't seem to go near her after they amputated one of her legs. She never woke up after that surgery, which I'm grateful for. It has never seemed real to me. I keep thinking she's somewhere & I need to go visit. She was like my best friend for so many years.
