That is what it is called, my best friend had it for most of her life. She had only a small bald patch on her head when we were kids, and she just told everyone that it fell out in that spot, which is another disorder that I can't think of. It begins with an "a". But she was really pulling it out herself.

She told me that she had a much bigger bald patch last year, and then last August I went to see her. I was truly shocked when I saw her; she had practically no hair on the crown of her head.

She went into short-term therapy and found that she did this due to stress. Once she found other ways to deal with her stress, she had less urges to pull. I think you probably are doing this to deal with stress, Deneb. It would certainly be something to discuss in therapy, if you are still going.
