Idea for class: take pictures of your child in snow if any while in TN. Bring back to class for them to see. Or, look on internet for pictures of snowflakes, or download (streaming video) with snow (flakes)... just a suggestion!!!

Dom> Today my students were working on a portfolio involving transformations and symmetry. I was teaching them how to fold paper and cut in orger to make a snowflake. They were clueless in regards to snowflakes. It has not snowed to where the snow stuck to the ground in over 17 years. I am going to Tennesse next week. I hope that I get to see snow.
