The tough clean the oven... (That was my mantra before the self-cleaning oven. Before that, it was "WTGGT, the tough defrost the freezer..." Now I guess it's "WTGGT, the tough can do whatever they want while I pull the quilt over my head.")
Let's see, for picture frames, have you considered polymer clay? That's the man I live with -- I came home with two dozen wooden frames to put up in our lounge room. I asked my husband what he thought would be good for decorating them? Maybe a nice, rich red stain? Nope. "Let's get some of that polymer clay and you can make little frogs, and lizards, and some leaves and maybe some flowers and vines..."
Fast forward.
He finally decides he'll have to show me that it's just not that hard to make a good little polymer clay frog. An hour later, of course, he had presented me with more scrap clay.
Poor guy.
I still haven't quite talked him into a nice, rich red stain yet, though...
Have fun with your switch plates. Then come on over and help me with my frames, just in case Mr X wins...
